We’re dedicated to providing personalized, loving care that prioritizes your dog’s happiness and well being, because that’s what best friends do.
To ensure each dog gets the attention they deserve, we limit our care to a maximum of 3 to 4 dogs at a time. For your peace of mind, we offer DBS certificates, proof of our dog knowledge, a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care and Welfare certificate, and copies of the contracts and consultation forms.
We are fully insured and licensed by Sefton Council (license number MA046544).

Dog Walking is available for dog owners who live within 6 miles of our home address.

Hot Weather Care: On particularly hot days, walking dogs can be risky due to the heat. To keep your dog safe and comfortable, I offer alternative options:Forest Trips: Enjoy a cool walk in the forest, where the natural shade and breeze provide a safer environment for your dog.
Garden Fun: I have a spacious garden with plenty of shaded areas, water games, and other fun activities to keep your dog entertained and cool.
Rainy Day Walks: I walk dogs no matter the weather, even on very rainy days! After the walk, I will do my best to dry your dog off, but please note that they may still be a little wet or dirty when they come home.Your dog's comfort and safety are always my top priority, no matter the weather!
Our Promise to You and Your Dog

• Custom Walks: We offer solo walks or small-group walks based on your preference.
• Updates and Reports: We send pictures, videos, or summaries of each walk.
• Insurance Coverage: We have proper liability insurance.
• Secure Practices: We prevent leash accidents or escapes and keep keys/entry codes secure.
• Emergency Handling: We are trained to handle emergencies and will contact a vet or owner promptly if needed.Pet Requirements
As the pet owner, you confirm that:
• Your dog is up to date on all required vaccinations.
• Your dog is on a monthly flea and tick preventative medication.
• Your dog has received appropriate worm treatment.
• Your dog is not aggressive toward people.
• You have completed the consultation form truthfully.Payment and Cancellation Policy
• Payment Structure:
• A 50% deposit (via bank transfer) is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours before the start date.
• If the total fee is £500, the deposit will be £250.
• Cancellations:
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• A week’s notice is required for walk cancellations. If notice is not given, the full charge for the canceled period will apply.
• If you cancel before the end of the contract, refunds will not be provided.Dog Walking Policies
• Walks last 30-60 minutes on or off-lead (as agreed with you).
• In cases of extreme weather, illness, or upon request, walks may be shortened, with the remaining time spent on indoor activities.
• All dogs must undergo a trial period to ensure they are adequately trained and socialized.
• Dogs must be vaccinated against listed diseases and be on regular flea and worm control.
• We reserve the right to cancel services immediately if your dog does not respond well to the walker or other dogs.Key and Security Policy
• We collect keys during the initial consultation. If unavailable at this time, a £5 charge applies for an additional trip.
• Keys are securely stored and attached to a non-identifiable key ring.
• Paperwork is kept separate and secure.
• No personal details will be shared with third parties.
• We can collect keys from a neighbor if preferred.Liability and Owner Responsibilities
• We are not responsible for damage caused by an improperly fitting collar/lead.
• We are not liable for property damage caused by your dog.
• We will not let dogs off-leash unless consent is given on the consultation form.
• If your dog is walked with other dogs, you confirm that your dog is well-socialized. We are not liable for any conflicts that may arise.
• We are not responsible for minor scratches or nicks that occur during playgroup interactions.
• Pet owners must disclose any behavioral or health concerns. Failure to do so is considered a breach of contract.Emergency and Veterinary Care
• We are authorized to obtain emergency veterinary care if necessary.
• We will attempt to contact you before seeking medical care.
• You are responsible for all veterinary costs.
• If your usual vet is unavailable, we will seek an alternative veterinarian.
• You agree to indemnify Ula&Maks Dog Care for any injury claims related to your dog.Complaints Policy

I, the pet owner, confirm that:
• I authorize Ula&Maks Dog Care to care for and transport my dog(s) if necessary.
• I accept full responsibility for veterinary costs related to emergency care.
• I release Ula&Maks Dog Care from liability related to the transportation, treatment, and expenses once in the veterinary clinic’s care.
• I will cover medical expenses and damages if my dog causes injury to the walker, other people, or animals.
• I acknowledge that my dog may get dirty during walks and accept that they may not always return home in a perfectly clean state.
• I confirm my dog is suitable for walking and have disclosed any relevant health or behavioral issues.
• I agree to the photo and video release, allowing Ula&Maks Dog Care to use images or videos of my pet for promotional purposes.
• I understand and reaffirm the terms of this agreement every time I request service.This agreement represents the sole contract between Ula&Maks Dog Care and the pet owner. If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.

Do you need to be away from home all day? No worries! Your dog doesn’t have to be alone for hours on end. Bring them to our Doggy Day Care in the morning, and pick them up in the afternoon or evening—whatever suits your schedule.What we offer:We accept a maximum of 4 dogs at a time, ensuring your dog gets plenty of individual attention.
We monitor and guide play to make sure all dogs are interacting positively.
Our small group size allows for a personalized approach, promoting proper socialization and building healthy relationships with other dogs.
Flexible Hours:
We understand that everyone has different work schedules, so we don’t have set drop-off or pick-up times. Whether you need to drop off your dog at 6 a.m. or pick them up as late as 9 p.m., we’re here to help. Pet Requirements
To ensure the safety and well-being of all pets, owners must confirm that their dog:
● Is up-to-date on all required vaccinations (Canine distemper, infectious hepatitis, canine parvovirus, leptospirosis) It is not a legal requirement, but for your dog's safety, please consider getting the parainfluenza and kennel cough vaccination too.
● Receives monthly flea and tick prevention.
● Has had appropriate worm treatment.
● Has been in good health for the past 30 days.
● Is not aggressive toward other dogs or people.
● In most cases, males must be neutered, and we do not accept females in heat.
● Does not suffer from severe separation anxiety.
Booking and Payment Policies
● Ula&Maks Dog Care operates with clear pricing—no hidden costs or extra fees.
● The total fee consists of:
○ A 50% deposit via bank transfer to secure your booking.
○ The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the stay begins.
Example: If the total cost is £500, the deposit will be £250.
• Cancellations: Due to our limited capacity, deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
● If the full payment is not made 48 hours before the start date and we cannot reach you, we will assume you no longer require our services. In such cases, the deposit will not be refunded.
Dog Walking and Socialization Consent
By using our services, you agree that:
● Your dog may be walked outside our property.
● Your dog may be walked with other dogs at the same time.
● Your dog may play off-leash in our garden and interact with other dogs.
● Your dog will be housed with a maximum of four other dogs in our home-based care environment.
● You acknowledge that minor scratches or cuts from play may occur.Behavioral and Health Disclosure
● Owners must disclose any behavioral or medical issues before booking.
● Failure to disclose issues such as aggression, excessive barking, or lack of house training may result in additional charges or contract termination.Liability and Veterinary Care
● The owner confirms that the consultation form has been completed truthfully and understands that providing any false information may result in the cancellation of the contract.
● Ula&Maks Dog Care is not liable for the loss, injury, or death of a pet while in our care, unless caused by our negligence.
● Owners are responsible for any medical expenses or damages resulting from their dog’s behavior.
● If your dog introduces fleas into our home, you will be billed for treatment costs.
● The dog owner authorizes Ula&Maks Dog Care to use an alternative veterinarian if their preferred veterinarian is unavailable.
● Clients must supply all necessary pet items (food, bed, medication, leash, etc.). Any additional purchases will be charged to the owner.
● The owner is always responsible for all veterinary costs, regardless of the circumstances.
● Clients must provide emergency contact details for someone authorized to make decisions about the pet.
● If we cannot reach the emergency contact, we reserve the right to make veterinary decisions in the dog’s best interest.Complaints and Dispute Resolution

Drop-In VisitsIf your dog feels more comfortable staying in their own home, our Drop-In Visits are the perfect solution. While you're away, we will come to your home to check on your dog, ensuring they’re cared for in their familiar environment.What’s included:
The length and activities during the visit can be customized based on your dog’s needs. Whether it’s feeding, playing, walking, or simply spending some time with them, we’ll tailor our visit to your requirements.We can visit your dog:Once, twice a day or three times a day, depending on what suits your schedule and your dog’s needs.

Example Visit:During a 30-minute visit, we can spend:15 minutes playing with your dog, providing companionship, or feeding them at home.The remaining

If you would like your dog to have company for an hour or more, just let us know! We can adjust the visit length and activities based on what will make your dog happiest.Customized Care:

• Home Security: Securing the home after each visit (locking doors, setting alarms, etc.).
• Emergency Preparedness: Knowing how to respond to health or safety emergencies.
• Updates for Owners: Sending pictures, videos, or text updates to reassure owners about their dog's well-being.
• Professionalism: Reliable scheduling and adherence to specific instructions.
• Customized Care: Tailoring the visit to the dog's unique needs and preferences.Pet Requirements
I represent that my pet meets all of the following requirements:
• Is current on all required vaccinations.

At Ula&Maks Dog Care, there are no hidden costs or extra fees. The total fee consists of two parts:
1. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required via bank transfer to confirm your booking and reserve a spot for your dog.
2. Remaining Balance: The outstanding balance must be paid 48 hours before the start date.
Example: If the total fee is £500, the deposit required is £250.Cancellation Policy:
• The deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
• If full payment is not made 48 hours before the start date and we are unable to contact you, we will assume the service is no longer required, and the deposit will not be refunded.
Timely payment ensures uninterrupted services and compliance with the agreed terms.Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
Should any pet become aggressive or dangerous, the Sitter may:
• Arrange with the pet’s Guardian to assume responsibility for the pet until the Owner’s return.
• Place the pet into a kennel or animal care facility at the Owner’s expense if the Guardian is unable or unwilling to assume responsibility.
Liability
• The Sitter accepts no liability for any breach of security, loss of property, or damage if other persons have access to the property during the agreement term.
• The Owner is liable for all medical expenses and damages resulting from injury to the Sitter caused by the pet.
• The Sitter is released from all liability related to transporting pets to and from any veterinary clinic or kennel, the medical treatment of the pet(s), and associated expenses.Emergency Situations
If an emergency arises, the Sitter shall:
• Contact the Owner to confirm the preferred course of action.
• If the Owner cannot be reached, the Sitter is authorized to:
• Transport the pet(s) to the listed veterinarian.
• Request on-site treatment from a veterinarian.
• Transport the pet(s) to an emergency clinic if necessary.Keys and Property Access
• The Sitter will keep all keys, remote controls, and access codes confidential.
• The Client must arrange for keys to be available ahead of the service.
• The Client is advised to check if their home insurance provider needs to be informed that someone will have access to the property.Dog Behaviour and Responsibilities
• Ula&Maks Dog Care will not let your dog(s) off the lead unless consent has been given on the consultation form.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by a dog escaping due to a faulty lead or collar.
• We will not be held responsible for damage caused by your dog to your property or others' property while in our care.
• Owners must disclose any behavioural or health issues, including aggression, incontinence, excessive barking, etc. Failure to do so may result in service termination without refund.Complaint Handling Policy

• Use my pet's name, images, or videos for marketing and promotional purposes.I acknowledge that:
• I am responsible for any medical expenses or damages resulting from my dog(s).
• I indemnify and hold harmless Ula&Maks Dog Care against any claims arising from injuries caused by my pet.
• I understand my dog may get dirty during walks and that while efforts will be made to clean them, some dirt may remain.
By signing this agreement, I affirm that:
• I have read and fully understand these terms.
• I waive any liability claims against Ula&Maks Dog Care.
• If any portion of this agreement is deemed invalid, the remainder shall remain in full effect.
This document represents the sole agreement between Ula&Maks Dog Care and the Owner/Guardian.

A cozy, homely environment that mimics your dog’s usual routine, helping them stay relaxed and happy.We only board small to medium-sized dogs (up to 18kg) to ensure personalized attention.

Dog Boarding Prices:
1 dog: Nightly rate £36.00
Extra dogs from the same household get 10% off each (Maximum 4 dogs at the same time)Clients must select a pick-up and drop-off time range when submitting their booking request. If the pick-up time on the final day of the stay is more than 2 hours later than the initial drop-off time, Rover will apply an Extended Care rate per pet.The rate varies based on the additional time provided for extended care:More than 2 hours, up to 8 additional hours – Clients will be charged 50% of the nightly rate.
More than 8 additional hours – Clients will be charged 100% of the nightly rate.Mandatory Tester Night
Before your dog’s stay, we require a tester night to ensure they’re comfortable in our home environment. This helps your dog adjust and ensures a smooth experience during their boarding.
Tester Night is free of charge.
