We provide DBS certification and evidence of our qualifications, including a Level 3 Diploma in Canine Care and Welfare. Fully insured, licensed by Sefton Council (MA046544) and trained in Canine First Aid, we are committed to using positive reinforcement handling and adhere to strict safety and emergency protocols. During every visit and walk, you’ll receive regular updates and photos, giving you complete peace of mind.

We use a standard car rather than a van, so we don’t transport large groups of dogs to walking locations.
For group walks, your dog may be joined by one or two other dogs currently staying with us for day care or overnight boarding.
If your dog travels calmly in the car and you’re located within a short drive of a suitable walking area, we’re happy to take them there. Otherwise, walks will take place locally within your neighbourhood.
If you would like your dog to be walked at a specific location farther from your home, please let us know — we’d be happy to discuss the details. We can accommodate walks in alternative locations for an additional fee.
We require a meet-and-greet prior to the first walk. This visit takes place at your home and typically lasts about 30 minutes. Please note that we do not accept cash payments; all transactions must be made via bank transfer.

• Emergency Handling: We are trained to handle emergencies and will contact a vet or owner promptly if needed.
Pet Requirements
As the pet owner, you confirm that:
• Your dog is up to date on all required vaccinations.
• Your dog is on a monthly flea and tick preventative medication.
• Your dog has received appropriate worm treatment.
• Your dog is not aggressive toward people.
• You have completed the consultation form truthfully.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
Payment Structure:
• A 50% deposit (via bank transfer) is required to confirm your booking.
• The remaining balance must be paid 48 hours before the start date.
• If the total fee is £500, the deposit will be £250.
Cancellations:
• Deposits are non-refundable.
• A week’s notice is required for walk cancellations. If notice is not given, the full charge for the cancelled period will apply.
• If you cancel before the end of the contract, refunds will not be provided.
Dog Walking Policies
• Walks last 30-60 minutes on or off-lead (as agreed with you).
• In cases of extreme weather, illness, or upon request, walks may be shortened, with the remaining time spent on indoor activities.
• We reserve the right to cancel services immediately if your dog becomes aggressive towards us or other dogs. (during a group walk)
Key and Security Policy
• We collect keys during the initial consultation. If unavailable at this time,
a £5 charge applies for an additional trip.
• Keys are securely stored and attached to a non-identifiable key ring.
• Paperwork is kept separate and secure.
• No personal details will be shared with third parties.
• We can collect keys from a neighbor if preferred.
Liability and Owner Responsibilities
• We are not responsible for damage caused by an improperly fitting collar/lead.
• We are not liable for property damage caused by your dog.
• We will not let dogs off-leash unless consent is given on the consultation form.
• If your dog is walked with other dogs, you confirm that your dog is well-socialized. We are not liable for any conflicts that may arise.
• We are not responsible for minor scratches or nicks that occur during playgroup interactions.
• Pet owners must disclose any behavioral or health concerns. Failure to do so is considered a breach of contract.
Emergency and Veterinary Care
• We are authorized to obtain emergency veterinary care if necessary.
• We will attempt to contact you before seeking medical care.
• You are responsible for all veterinary costs.
• If your usual vet is unavailable, we will seek an alternative veterinarian.
• You agree to indemnify Ula&Maks Dog Care for any injury claims related to your dog.
Complaints Policy
How to Make a Complaint

• If more time is required, we will update you accordingly.

Consent Agreement
I, the pet owner, confirm that:
• I authorize Ula&Maks Dog Care to care for and transport my dog(s) if necessary.
• I accept full responsibility for veterinary costs related to emergency care.
• I release Ula&Maks Dog Care from liability related to the transportation, treatment, and expenses once in the veterinary clinic’s care.
• I will cover medical expenses and damages if my dog causes injury to the walker, other people, or animals.
• I acknowledge that my dog may get dirty during walks and accept that they may not always return home in a perfectly clean state.
• I confirm my dog is suitable for walking and have disclosed any relevant health or behavioral issues.
• I agree to the photo and video release, allowing Ula&Maks Dog Care to use images or videos of my pet for promotional purposes.
• I understand and reaffirm the terms of this agreement every time I request service.

We know every schedule is different, so we don’t have fixed drop-off or pick-up times. Whether you need to drop off early at 7am or collect your dog as late as 8pm, we’re happy to accommodate. Just get in touch to arrange a time that works for you!

🎯 Dog Requirements
➤ We welcome small to medium dogs up to ~18–20kg (applies to puppies of larger breeds). Dogs expected to exceed this weight cannot be accommodated.
➤ All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with boosters, including Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough.
➤ Puppies are welcome, provided house training and basic obedience have started.
➤ We cannot accept unsocialised dogs or dogs showing aggression toward people.
➤ Unneutered males are generally not accepted (except young puppies).
➤ Females do not need to be spayed, but we cannot accept females in season. Owners must monitor heat cycles carefully.
🕒 Structured Calm & Rest
✦ Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are our top priorities. While most of the day is filled with supervised play, there are short, structured periods of calm:
✦ Walks – Dogs are grouped by energy and personality. Occasionally, some dogs stay safely at home while another group goes out for a walk.
✦ Mealtimes – Dogs are fed separately to prevent resource guarding and maintain calm.
✦ Playtime – Dogs may be separated briefly to avoid toy or attention-related tension, allowing safe, one-on-one play.
✦ Training sessions – Individual positive reinforcement sessions ensure each dog gets focused attention.
Alone time is brief and never exceeds one hour. Dogs are always safe, with water, a comfortable bed, and monitored via doggy camera.The rest of the day is filled with socialising, play, and free movement around the house and garden.Note: Dogs with separation anxiety are not suited to this environment.

Pet Requirements
To ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs, owners must confirm that their dog:
• Is up to date on all required vaccinations (Canine Distemper, Infectious Hepatitis, Canine Parvovirus, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough).

• The total fee consists of:

Dog Walking and Socialisation Consent
By using our services, you agree that:
• Your dog may be walked outside the property.
• Your dog may be walked alongside other dogs.
• Your dog may play off-leash in our secure garden and interact with other dogs.
• Your dog will be housed with a maximum of four other dogs in our home-based care environment.
• You acknowledge that minor scratches or cuts may occasionally occur through normal play.

• Owners must disclose any behavioural or medical issues before booking.
• Failure to disclose issues such as aggression, excessive barking, or lack of house training may result in additional charges or contract termination.

Short Periods of Rest or Supervised Separation
Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are always our highest priority. While dogs are kept engaged and supervised for most of the day, there are brief times when they may rest alone in a secure environment.
1. Walk Scheduling:
To keep walks enjoyable, we often divide dogs into smaller groups based on their energy levels and personalities. While one group is out exploring, the others rest comfortably at home until it’s their turn.
2. Mealtimes:
Dogs are always separated during feeding to prevent resource guarding and keep mealtimes calm and safe.
3. Playtime Breaks:
Some dogs prefer exclusive attention or may become protective over toys. When needed, dogs are given one-on-one play sessions such as fetch or tug-of-war to keep interactions positive and relaxed.
4. Individual Training Sessions:
As part of our daily play and enrichment routine, we include short, one-on-one training sessions designed to help each dog focus without distractions and benefit from dedicated attention. These sessions typically last around 10–20 minutes, so your dog may need to wait patiently for his or her turn.
These moments are brief and scheduled carefully. The total time any dog spends alone in one day never exceeds one hour. Dogs are never left in unsafe conditions, they stay in a secure room with access to water, a comfortable bed, and are monitored via a doggy camera.
By signing this contract, you confirm that you understand and consent to your dog being left unsupervised for short, managed periods.
(for Boarding Dogs)
Dogs staying with us for daycare are only left alone during the short periods described above, such as when we attend to other dogs. However, dogs staying with us for longer periods (boarding) may occasionally need to be left alone for slightly longer durations — for example, when we run essential errands such as shopping.
All dogs are always kept in a safe, secure, and comfortable environment with access to fresh water and a suitable resting area. They are separated from other dogs during these times to ensure calm and safety.
By signing this agreement, you confirm that you understand and consent to your dog being left alone for short, managed periods as part of normal daily routines, and that your dog does not suffer from separation anxiety.
At night, boarding dogs sleep in separate rooms to ensure a calm and safe rest environment. While we generally avoid having dogs sleep in our bedroom, we understand that the first few nights in a new place can be challenging. If your dog needs extra reassurance during the initial settling period, we can stay with them in a dedicated room to help them feel secure.
If your dog cannot settle without constant human company and is unable to sleep independently, our boarding environment may not be the most suitable option. By signing this contract, you agree that your dog is able to sleep alone in a designated room, separate from both us and the other dogs.
All dogs sleep inside our home, in rooms situated close to our bedroom, allowing us to check on them immediately if they become unsettled.

Liability and Veterinary Care
• The owner confirms that the consultation form has been completed truthfully. Providing false information may result in cancellation of the contract.
• Ula&Maks Dog Care is not liable for loss, injury, or death of a pet while in our care, unless caused by our negligence.
• Owners are responsible for any medical expenses or damages resulting from their dog’s behaviour.
• If your dog introduces fleas into our home, you will be billed for treatment costs.
• The owner authorizes Ula&Maks Dog Care to use an alternative veterinarian if their preferred one is unavailable.
• In emergencies where immediate care is required, we may seek veterinary assistance without prior approval if delay could endanger the dog’s health.
• Any associated veterinary or emergency transport costs are the responsibility of the owner.
• Clients must provide all necessary pet items (food, bed, medication, leash, etc.). Any additional purchases made for the dog’s care will be charged to the owner.
• Clients must provide emergency contact details for someone authorized to make decisions about the pet.
• If we cannot reach the emergency contact, we reserve the right to make veterinary decisions in the dog’s best interest.

Pet Requirements
I represent that my pet meets all of the following requirements:
• Is current on all required vaccinations.
• Is on a monthly flea and tick preventative medication.
• Has received appropriate worm treatment.
• Is not aggressive toward people.
• I have completed the consultation form truthfully.
Payment and Cancellation Policy
At Ula&Maks Dog Care, there are no hidden costs or extra fees. The total fee consists of two parts:
1. Deposit: A 50% deposit is required via bank transfer to confirm your booking and reserve a spot for your dog.
2. Remaining Balance: The outstanding balance must be paid 48 hours before the start date.
Example: If the total fee is £500, the deposit required is £250.
Cancellation Policy:
• The deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation.
• If full payment is not made 48 hours before the start date and we are unable to contact you, we will assume the service is no longer required, and the deposit will not be refunded.
Timely payment ensures uninterrupted services and compliance with the agreed terms.
Aggressive or Dangerous Pets
Should any pet become aggressive or dangerous, the Sitter may:
• Arrange with the pet’s Guardian to assume responsibility for the pet until the Owner’s return.
• Place the pet into a kennel or animal care facility at the Owner’s expense if the Guardian is unable or unwilling to assume responsibility.
Liability
• The Sitter accepts no liability for any breach of security, loss of property, or damage if other persons have access to the property during the agreement term.
• The Owner is liable for all medical expenses and damages resulting from injury to the Sitter caused by the pet.
• The Sitter is released from all liability related to transporting pets to and from
any veterinary clinic or kennel, the medical treatment of the pet(s), and associated
expenses.
Emergency Situations
If an emergency arises, the Sitter shall:
• Contact the Owner to confirm the preferred course of action.
• If the Owner cannot be reached, the Sitter is authorized to:
· Transport the pet(s) to the listed veterinarian.
· Request on-site treatment from a veterinarian.
· Transport the pet(s) to an emergency clinic if necessary.
Keys and Property Access
• The Sitter will keep all keys, remote controls, and access codes confidential.
• The Client must arrange for keys to be available ahead of the service.
• The Client is advised to check if their home insurance provider needs to be informed that someone will have access to the property.
Dog Behaviour and Responsibilities
• Ula&Maks Dog Care will not let your dog(s) off the lead unless consent has been given on the consultation form.
• We are not responsible for damage caused by a dog escaping due to a faulty lead or collar.
• We will not be held responsible for damage caused by your dog to your property or others' property while in our care.
• Owners must disclose any behavioural or health issues, including aggression, incontinence, excessive barking, etc. Failure to do so may result in service termination without refund.

• Use my pet's name, images, or videos for marketing and promotional purposes.
I acknowledge that:
• I am responsible for any medical expenses or damages resulting from my dog(s).
• I indemnify and hold harmless Ula&Maks Dog Care against any claims arising from injuries caused by my pet.
• I understand my dog may get dirty during walks and that while efforts will be made to clean them, some dirt may remain.
By signing this agreement, I affirm that:
• I have read and fully understand these terms.
• I waive any liability claims against Ula&Maks Dog Care.
• If any portion of this agreement is deemed invalid, the remainder shall remain
in full effect.
This document represents the sole agreement between Ula&Maks Dog Care and the Owner/Guardian.
Photo and Video Release
By using our services, you consent to Ula&Maks Dog Care using images or videos of your pet in marketing or promotional materials.

When you’re away, your dog deserves more than just a kennel. Our boarding service offers a warm, safe, and relaxed stay right in our family home. Your dog will live with us day and night so they feel secure, comfortable, and truly cared for.
We welcome a maximum of four dogs at a time, allowing us to give each guest plenty of personal attention, love, and tailored care. Every dog becomes part of the family, enjoying a cozy, homely environment and a stress-free holiday of their own.

1 Dog (Nightly Rate): £36.00
Additional Dogs (Same Household): 10% discount per dog

⏱️ Pick-Up & Drop-Off Policy:
Clients are required to select both a drop-off and pick-up time range when submitting a booking request.
If the pick-up time on the final day is more than 2 hours later than the original drop-off time, an Extended Care fee will apply:
Over 2 hours, up to 8 hours extra: 50% of the nightly rate
Over 8 additional hours: 100% of the nightly rate

🎯 Dog Requirements
➤ We welcome small to medium dogs up to ~18–20kg (applies to puppies of larger breeds). Dogs expected to exceed this weight cannot be accommodated.
➤ All dogs must be fully vaccinated and up to date with boosters, including Distemper, Parvovirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Kennel Cough.
➤ Puppies are welcome, provided house training and basic obedience have started.
➤ We cannot accept unsocialised dogs or dogs showing aggression toward people.
➤ Unneutered males are generally not accepted (except young puppies).
➤ Females do not need to be spayed, but we cannot accept females in season. Owners must monitor heat cycles carefully.
🕒 Structured Calm & Rest
✦ Your dog’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing are our top priorities. While most of the day is filled with supervised play, there are short, structured periods of calm:
✦ Walks – Dogs are grouped by energy and personality. Occasionally, some dogs stay safely at home while another group goes out for a walk.
✦ Mealtimes – Dogs are fed separately to prevent resource guarding and maintain calm.
✦ Playtime – Dogs may be separated briefly to avoid toy or attention-related tension, allowing safe, one-on-one play.
✦ Training sessions – Individual positive reinforcement sessions ensure each dog gets focused attention.
Alone time is brief and never exceeds one hour. Dogs are always safe, with water, a comfortable bed, and monitored via doggy camera.The rest of the day is filled with socialising, play, and free movement around the house and garden.Note: Dogs with separation anxiety are not suited to this environment.
